Salvation is available to all men.

Introduction:

We are living in perilous times as never before and it will worsen.

God is not to blame for the current chaotic condition in which mankind is.  The blame is on Satan and the human beings who are against their Creator.

Humans are created both a visible and invisible being... We are triune; body, soul and spirit.

Further more, we have a temporary and timeless (eternal) appearance and existence.

We where created to be in perfect harmony with the Creator and the rest of creation. That was and still is God’s the purpose. All created beings (angelic and human) where created with the undeniable ability to make choices. It’s called the will.  Angels have already chosen their final destination. A certain number (2/3) of the angels have chosen for the Creator and 1/3 has chosen against the Creator.  Lucifer/ Satan, the adversary, and one third of the angels (demons) have choosing to rebel against God all mighty (Elohim), Who created all things.  The human race is still in process of making a choice between God and the adversary.  Every individual has to make a choice; it is either God or Satan, who is the head of this present world (world system).  Each one of us has to decide individually on which side of fence we stand. God has already provided for a solution for the basic problems.  We need to get to know Him for whom He is, and the plan and purpose He has for us. We have to find out what His will is and comply with it.

There are all kinds of solutions out there in this world. Satan and humans are coming with solutions which are enticing and deceptive. Solutions such as; religion, entertainment, political power, science, technology, wealth, fame, and all the other things that keeps people in bondage when misused and abused. The human heart has a void; it is troubled and aching and is desperately trying to find something or someone who can fill and satisfy the emptiness on the inside. In the perilous times we live in; any thing would do, as long as the void could be filled. God has the only Salvation plan for mankind. He loved us first. He took the initiative to love us while we were yet sinners. ”For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. But God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:6&8)

What is Salvation, and how do you fit in:

The word Salvation comes from the Greek word “SOZO” which means to rescue from danger; deliverance, preservation, safety, rescue, save and well being.  Salvation is a gift from God to man. Salvation is free and is available to every one who wants to receive this gift. God all mighty has a plan and purpose for each one of us. The Bible is crystal clear when it comes to Salvation.  In His Salvation plan He has provided in Jesus Christ, His only Son, as a ransom. We cannot save our self and pay for our own sins and iniquities. (Rom7:19_24)  It is our sins or evil works that caused the emptiness in our soul in the first place.  If we do not accept the free gift of Salvation from God we will we end up in eternal damnation, hell, which is actual created for Satan and his demons. (Matt 25:41) God does not want anyone to go to hell. We can make a choice now and decide where our final destination will be.

I will introduce some Scriptures from God’s unfailing word to you:

By becoming a follower of Jesus Christ we must get to know God who is our heavenly Father.  He knew us even before we were born. “My frame was not hidden from You. When I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there none of them” (Psalm 139:15-16)

What must you do to be saved?

Our good works cannot save us from eternal damnation.

The word of God, the Bible says, “For by grace (undeserved favor of God) you are saved through faith; and not of yourselves: It is the gift of God: Not of works, less any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

There is only one way to be rescued from eternal damnation and to bring us in right standing with God and that is through faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The bible is clear, the Son of God said:” I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man come unto the Father but by Me” (John 14:6).

Being a good person will not will not save us either. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5) Our good works should be as a token of gratefulness for His gift of Salvation. Good works does not lead to salvation.

Do you have the desire and willingness to be saved by Jesus Christ from eternal damnation?

If your answer is no; the bible says,” He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18) But if your answer is yes, make a decision and become a follower of Jesus Christ.

How to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior?

Admit you’re a sinner.

Failure to acknowledge our personal guilt and sin only fools ourselves (1John1:18)

Admit you’re a sinner and lost because of your sinful life and guilt. Sin is the tragic inheritance of all mankind. (Romans 5:12) and therefore separated from God. (Romans 8:7-8) The wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23). God loves us so much that He sent His Son from heaven to die for us. Yes, God is loves us, yet He is Holy, He loves the sinner but He hates sin. He does not comprise with sin. The bible says,” we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came through Christ Jesus. God presented Him as a sacrifice to reconcile us through faith in His Blood. He did this to demonstrate His justice, because in His forbearance He had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished. He did it to demonstrate His justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus”. (Romans 3:23-26) “And if we say that we have not sinned, we make Him (God) a liar, and His word is not in us” (1John 1:10)

You must repent:

To repent means that you must remorsefully turn away from your sin.  You are unable to do that in your own strength.  But God will help you because it is part of the Salvation package.

When Jesus was teaching on repentance He said, ”I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish”. (Luke13:5). That simply means we all have to repent of our sins before we can be accepted by God through Jesus Christ. Even you!

You must believe in your heart:

You must believe that: Jesus is the Son of God; He was crucified, and died as ransom for your sins and He rose from the dead. He is now sitting at the right hand of the Father.

Let’s see what the Bible says:” If you confess with your mouth that Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10)

You must believe in God, His Son Jesus, and in the power of His forgiveness (Acts 16:30-31)

Invite Jesus into your heart:

To be born again you must invite Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior.

All who invite Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives are reborn spiritually and receive new life from God. Through faith in Christ this new birth changes us from the inside out.

The bible says, “As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12-13)

Through prayer you invite Jesus:

Through prayer you invite Jesus into your life as Lord and your personal Savior.

The Bible says,” For with the heart man believes to righteousness and with the mouth confession is made to Salvation. (Romans 10:10)

What to pray:

You can pray the following prayer which is also called the sinner’s prayer.

“Heavenly Father, I am a sinner and I need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed is precious Blood and died on the cross for my sins. I repent of all my sins.

Forgive me heavenly Father. Come into my heart Lord Jesus and into my life as my personal Savior.

I accept your forgive in faith. And from this day on I will live for you.

Thank you, in Jesus name. Amen”

If you have prayed the sinner’s prayer whole heartedly, you are now secure in Jesus Christ. You are now born again and have eternal life in Jesus Christ. “Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away, behold, all things have become new”. (2Corinthians 17)

Welcome to the Family of God.

Your new life:

All of us need to grow up in Christ.

We are to grow in grace and knowledge of the things of God(2 Peter 3:18)

Since you have prayed, invited, and received Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior, you have become a child of God, therefore a follower of Christ. “But as many received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name”. (John 1:12)

If you don’t have a Bible yet, buy one and read it daily. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path” (Psalm119:105) We grow as we read the word(1 Peter 2:2)

Pray before you read the Bible. ( Start with the New Testament).

Talk to God daily in prayer:

When we talk to God, He listens and answers our prayer.” Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (1John 5:14.)

God encourages us to pray to Him,” Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6)

We need help from God’s Spirit when we don’t know how to pray.((Romans 8:26)

Go to church:

Join yourself with a body of believers and regularly attend worship. The Bible admonishes us to go to church,” Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25)  We need to go to church because we worship and have fellowship and even serve with other believers. It will also helps us to know more about  the word of God, ”All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2Timothy3:16-17)

Go to a church where they preach, teach and practice the word of god where the word of God has the final Authority.

Share your Christian faith with others:

There are at least four if not more important reasons why we should share our new faith with others who do not know Jesus yet. God commanded us to do so. It demonstrates our love for Him.

Because unsaved people are out there and need to get forgiveness of their sins, just like it was freely given to you. God desires to save all people. The Scripture also says,” For I am not a shamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes; to the Jew first and also for the Greek” (Romans1:16). Another Scripture says, “And He said to them, go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15)

Be baptized:

Even Jesus was baptized.  Because you are now a follower Jesus, you follow in His footsteps.

He commanded us,” Go, therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of God the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19)

Be encouraged and of good cheer, He has overcome the world.

God bless you and have a wonderful life’s journey with our Lord Jesus Christ.
